Dr. Wilson’s award-winning approach as a sociology instructor is to inspire students to scrutinize the social world in both critical and imaginative ways. He takes special care to ensure the classroom culture is socially inclusive — an invigorating intellectual space where everyone is expected to participate as peers.

Dr. Wilson was recently an ECURE teaching fellow (2020-22), which strives to bring undergraduate research experiences into the classroom.
